A yard, a mill and a sample room.

Questions

What people ask before they order.

Can we get a sample first?
Yes. Name the mix and the room and we post a cut piece from the same batch, honed the way it would be laid.
What is the difference between a slab and a tile?
A slab is cast to the size you give us and cut once. A tile is a fixed size, cast in a run and laid like any other tile.
Can you match a mix that is not on the list?
Often. Tell us the chip and the cement colour and we cast a trial before you commit to a floor.
Will the finished floor match the sample?
Close, never identical. Chip is natural stone and every batch falls a little differently, so we cut the sample from the batch we will cast from.
What do the bands mean?
Effort, not a figure. Entry is a stock mix in a stock size, middle is a stock mix cut to your drawing, upper is a mix and a size made for one job.
